AIR X 400 Watt Wind Generator

The AIR X is the most widely used Small Wind Turbine in the world.
Rated at 400 watts, at 28 mph wind speed, the AIR X has a 46 inch advanced blade that responds well to the wind and produces around 87 Kwh/month in a wind zone III-IV.
The AIR X is used as a battery charger. An internal regulator controls the voltage for 12, 24 and 48 Volt DC systems. If you have DC loads, you can power from the battery charged by the AIR X. If you have an AC load you can attach an inverter to your battery bank (using disconnects on the positive leg) to produce 120 VAC output.
The AIR X comes in three versions. Land, Marine, and Industrial. To select the appropriate model it is recommended that you use a Marine version if you are within 10 miles of the sea coast.
Industrial AIR X is used when the environment is extreme, such as mountain tops, oil rigs, and other sites where there is harsh weather.
The AIR X series of wind generators mount on a schedule #40 pipe at 1.5 inches. There are several tower choices based on height, and whether guy wires are preferred.
For use on Boats the AIR X Marine is a good choice.
