Water Sterilization and Treatment
|
|
Moving and processing water goes back to historical times.
Modern technology allows for Pumping Water and Sterilizing treatment of water to provide clean potable water from brackish sources.
There are several levels of treatment in water purification and sterilization. The first is to remove particulates which is done by a Sediment Filter. This removes very small particles, rust, clay 10 M etc., and prepares the water for the second step.
Activated Charcoal and Carbon Brick, used in step two removes odor and residual micro matter from the source water.
Step three, using an ultra violet UV water sterilizer, irradiates the remaining water with high level ultra violet radiation. Used by nature, the short wavelength UV light breaks up hydro-carbon bonds (Life's molecules, even germs), and no bacteria can survive.
Using UV water sterilization will remove 99.99% of all pathogens in the water making it safe for human consumption.
Size your UV system by Voltage, American or European, and flow-rate in Gallons per Minute.
